UK competition operators
The operator directory is owned by the backend's reviewed public identity policy, not assembled from whichever competitions happen to match today. Approved operators remain represented during a temporary zero-record or degraded-source state.
What an operator profile means
Profiles organise public transparency signals, coverage notes and currently tracked competitions. Directory membership means Competition Checker tracks the identity; it is not a claim that the operator is safe, regulated or endorsed.
Empty profiles remain useful
A profile with no current competitions explains the coverage state and still links to methodology and data-accuracy information. Source failure or a zero-result filter must not silently remove the operator identity.
